A generous breakfast is served between 9 and 10 A.M., and always includes fresh orange juice and our exclusive Big River Coffee Company "Rendezvous Blend" -- a robust, organic French roast. Decaf coffee and Stash black and herbal teas are also available.

Muffins or scones are freshly baked each morning, timed to come piping hot from the oven right at nine o'clock.

Breakfast also includes an entree, which isn't prepared until you arrive in the dining room, so that it is served fresh and hot. Entrees range from simply-scrambled eggs with fresh tarragon and applewood-smoked bacon, to Eggs Benedict with made-to-order, stove-top hollandaise. Other popular dishes include house-made quiche Lorraine and our breakfast fritata with sauteed onions, mushrooms, crumbled bacon and Gruyère cheese. No matter how many days you stay with us, breakfast will be different each time.

Vegetarian breakfasts are cheerfully served with advance notice. Departing before breakfast? Let us know the day before, and we will bake muffins for you to take on the road, packed with paper plates and napkins. Early morning coffee or tea can be brewed in the coffee machine located at the top of the stairs inside the house.
